The multi-spectrum, multi-resolution and multi-source remote sensing images is becoming more and more important in the use of space data application. With the accumulation of multi-temporal remote sensing images, the traditional image data organization method is no longer fit the requirement of newly application. Considering this requirement, in this paper we studied the method of image data organization and query based on the OracleinterMedia and a temporal image data organization and query system is developed. The main work and originalities are as follows:1) At first, the methods and advantages of using database to manage voluminous image data are analyzed. Two methods (interMedia and BLOB) of Oracle Spatial using to manage image data are compared. Considering the superiority of interMedia in sensing images operation and manage, we use OracleinterMedia to manage space-time image data in this paper.2) Secondly, we analyzed the Event-based Spatio-Temporal Data Model (ESTDM), and based on the existed Base State with Amendments Spatio-Temporal Data Model, proposed a method of dynamic base state with Amendments. By introducing dynamic base state and dynamic base state storage space, we developed the searches and queries arithmetic for time point and time period. By comparing the multi-base-states & multi-classes-delta-file with amendment method and dynamic multi-index method theoretically, we validated the superiority of this method in the aspects of storage space and the average number of accessing delta-file.3) Based on the research of the Dynamic Base State method, in this paper we use the tools of C# and OracleinterMedia, developed an experiment system, accomplished the organization and query of amendment data of dynamic Base State method.
