Although types of electromagnets are multiple, the conformation and the working principle of the electromagnets are about the same. Electromagnet is generally consisted of exciting coil, magnet, pole rod and pole head. Currently, electromagnets designing to determine the framework of magnetic circuit and the size and relative parameters is based on the mission and the technological index of electromagnets. A reasonable structure and a fine property of the electromagnet not only economize materials, while increase efficiency, but also can ensure moving of the system. However, it is not easy thing to determine the best forming parameters. This is the unity of technology requiring with economy, as well as the unity of designing theory with experience data. Fine structure must be considered a good technology. But the best forming parameters that merely compute from designing theory are often unreasonable on technology. Designer should unifies these issues. As so far, although there are many methods in designing electromagnets, there do not have a set of strict, exact and easy methods. Many designers make their choices depend on experience data, through some theoretical calculation building model to experiment, so as to verify whether the designing forming parameters are reasonable. This designing method direct refers to designer,s experience. In order to correspond to designing, a good designer needs several modifying, this lead to the cycle is longer and the cost is higher. In this paper, the finiteing element is used in electromagnets designing. Through finiting element analyzing to the electromagnet the necessary electromagnet parameters are analogously designed by Ansoft software, thus it generates three-dimensional figure of electromagnetic field data. Take a computers analogous designing for necessary electromagnets with making full use of powerful function of Ansoft software. Practical testing results for SBV-130 double choking electromagnets designing shows that it well corresponds to designing technological index of this method. Method of this paper used in designing electromagnets can saves time and increases possibility of success. This method is worth popularizing.
