The rapid development of the transportation is the guarantee to accelerate the realization of the four modernizations. In the constructions such as highways, railways, urban and rural road and water conservancy, in order to stride across all of the obstacles or establish three-dimensional traffic, each type of the bridge which will become the important component of the overland communication should be built in chinese road traffic construction, the concrete bridge (prestressed concrete bridge and reinforced concrete bridge) is the most important form of the bridge.With the fast development of Xi'an, Xi'an transportation also develops quickly. But from the late 1970s, due to nature and man-made factors, there were altogether14 ground fissure belts which are growing now in Xi'an. Ground fissure belts had a remarkable impact on some bridges. So it has far-reaching significance to inquiry the influence mechanism of the ground fissures on the structure of the bridge and the damage patterns of the bridge spanning ground fissure belt.Studies of influence mechanism of ground fissure activity to the reinforced concrete bridge in the Xi'an typical stratum buried depth 12.5m adopted testing cells such as a settlement Cup, high-precision Level, steel wire pressure on the box, displacement meter and strain gauges and simulated ground fissure activities by settlement platform through the large-scale (1:5) structural model experiment of reinforced concrete bridge spanning ground fissure. It comes to a conclusion that the stress strain characteristics of the concretes bridge under the influence of ground fissure belts and the concretes bridge's stress pattern, which provides the scientific basis for the Structural measures of the concretes bridge spanning ground fissure section.Numerical model of ground fissure and the Concretes Bridge is built by the ANSYS finite element software, the stress and strain of concretes bridge structure under the fissure influence are analyzed through the numerical calculation. With the comparison of the model experiment's result, it provides the experimental basis for bridge design passing the ground fissure section during the municipal engineering.
