Along with the development of remote sensing technology,the geometric resolution of commercial high-resolution remote sensing image has up to decimeter level. The application domain of remote sensing has gradually extended to traffic,weather and land resources management, etc. However,when using high-resolution remote sensing image in mapping, the spatial data quality problems has been difficult to conclusion. The purposes of geometry precision analysis is through the high-resolution remote sensing image geometric accuracy analysis provide its application requirement it can meet. This paper analyses the geometric features of SPOT5 satellite remote sensing image from the following aspects :remote sensing image geometric correction. geometry precision analysis and error interval description. Is specifically manifested in the following:1 Summary analysis of the current situation of high resolution rs images. A general description of the status of high-resolution remote sensing satellites, focusing on description of the French remote sensing satellite system SPOT5 image information and the metadata.2 General geometric correction model for SPOT5 remote sensing system image.Use the pseudo geographic Lat/lon and the RPC(rational polynomial coefficients) model, to achieve the transformation process from the image coordinates to ground coordinates. Compare with the aerial image, analysis of the geometric precision of SPOT5 satellite images.3 Accuracy analysis under different coordinate system.Through transform the vector into polar coordinates,compare with the reference image that has a different coordinate system, to assess the quality of the remote sensing image.Use the length and azimuth error of the unit vector as the characteristics of the geometric accuracy of remote sensing images.4 Remote sensing image geometric correction. Through the least square method, triangulation geometric correction method and ordinary Kriging model as image geometric correction method.And analysis the results,get higher accuracy remote sensing image.5 Interval number to describe the image precision. At the end of the paper, interval number is used to describe the image precision. Triangular fuzzy function is used to describe the similarity of any point in the point error range.According to the calculation method based on interval numbers, Calculated the error range and triangular fuzzy function of any point on a line.Use the geometric correction as as the main means,Adoption of common geometric correction model,and different model of geometric correction methods for a progressive image correction,get higher accuracy remote sensing image. And statistics calculated the accuracy of the corrected image.At last,point and line error range graphical describes the distribution of the geometric accuracy.Use data and grathic, describes the geometric accuracy of remote sensing image.
