Research On Geological Tourism Resources Of Qinhuangdao National Geopark

With the development of society, the tourism which is called "smokeless industry", has become one of the most strongest and largest industries in global economy as the new emerging industry. China is one of countries that have most abundant tourism resources in the world, which is not only the vast territory, complicated and great differences in geography, but also has long history and culture as well as unique ethnic customs.With regard to the tourism , it has become one of chief industry of Chinese economic development .In recent years, its development is moving from sightseeing at first to leisure vacation to the way of science and culture currently , therefore, the exploitation of geological park also comes into being. Accordingly, it is very important to protect, develop and utilize the natural geological relics , at the same time , research and plan the geological tourism resources. In this paper, it focuses on practical suggestion and proposals based on geological science from the points of tourism study and economics aiming at the tourism of Qinhuangdao and involves in exploiting geological relics and improving international status of Liujiang National Geopark.However, Liujiang Basin is the National Geopark and national nature reserve, but it stressed on the mineral resources and ignored the tourism value previously. Consequently, this subject plays an filling blank role in this field. Liujiang National Geopark of Qinhuangdao consists of three parts: Liujiang basin geological relics interests, Zu Mountain, Jiao mountain, Changshou mountain and Yansai River geological landform interests and the Great Wall cultural interests. Specially, karst landscape and volcanic landscape is that unique part.This paper investigates a lot of tourism resources,proposes exploiting assumption and brief planning for geological resources characteristics (karst and ancient volcanic resources) aiming at the current tourism developing status, and validates its feasibility and necessity through the research of Liujiang National Geopark. In a word, all of these can provide references for development of tourism economy of Qin huangdao.
