Research On Tourism Development Of Cangnan Fanshan National Geopark

With the rapid development of the domestic economy and the upgrading and iteration of the industrialization process,a large number of traditional industries are faced with the "dilemma" of how to reuse them after being eliminated.However,most of the more mature domestic development cases at this stage are concentrated in the economically developed cities such as Beijing,Shanghai,and Guangzhou,which is of little significance to other cities.This article hopes to explore the tourism development of Cangnan Fanshan National Geopark,and provide reference for the development of similar industrial heritage tourism locations in China.At the same time,it can also enrich industrial heritage tourism development models based on local characteristics,expand research ideas,and enrich the connotation of industrial tourism development.The predecessor of Cangnan Fanshan National Geological Park,Wenzhou Alum Mine was once brilliant,but with the wave of reform and opening up,it has gradually become a "zombie state-owned enterprise”.In 2017,the alumite mine was ordered to suspend production due to environmental issues,and in the same year it obtained the qualification to establish a national mine park.In 2019,the Fanshan Alum Mine site was included in the eighth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.In 2020,the formation system of Wenzhou Alumite Mine was transferred to the jurisdiction of the People's Government of Cangnan County.In the same year,Wenzhou Alumite Cultural Tourism Group was formally established.Fanshan was once again included in the list of newly-built National Geoparks by the Ministry of Natural Resources.Based on extensive reading of the literature,this article analyzes the domestic and international research status and theories related to industrial heritage tourism.Through data collection,field investigations,in-depth interviews,etc.,the historical evolution of the alum mine site and the basic situation of the national geopark are briefly reviewed.The main contents are the development goal positioning,planning layout and resource situation,and the work results achieved.This paper designs related questionnaires around the value evaluation,development strategy recognition,scenic relevance,tourism experience of Cangnan Fanshan National Geopark,and conducts data analysis on the basis of the collected effective questionnaires.It is concluded that the value of Cangnan Fanshan National Geopark is generally recognized,and it is also discovered that the park's educational science function is weak,as well as the demand for tourists to improve public infrastructure such as internal and external transportation,Find out the core elements of future development that need to improve the quality of scenic spots,expand tourist areas,enrich cultural and creative tourism formats,and strengthen market management.Based on the existing research results,this paper conducts a SWOT analysis of Cangnan Fanshan National Geopark,and summarizes in detail the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats in four aspects.Put forward four aspects of development principles and three aspects of development path.And put five aspects of development countermeasures,including "improving the overall quality of the geopark,highlighting the characteristics of industry and mining","intensifying cultural protection,and enhancing the cultural value and image of the industrial heritage of the geopark","improving the level of tourism product development,and enhancing the comprehensive profitability of the geopark","Enhance the nature of popular science education of geoparks,rationally arrange leisure functions","build a smart tourism system for geoparks,and improve the level of operation".Most of the research results of this paper are the conclusions drawn after comprehensive analysis of the development of industrial heritage tourism and the establishment of national geological parks at the Fanshan alunite mine site in Wenzhou.But at the same time,it also has a certain reference significance for the transformation and development of this type of traditional industrial heritage tourism in China.It has positive and practical significance for promoting domestic industrial heritage tourism theory and practice research and enriching different types of industrial heritage tourism development models.
