Aplication Of Geographic Information System

Integrating the geospatial information together with the computer technology and even with the internet technology is undoubtedly a profound revolution. It not only greatly influences people's lives, work and studies, but also guides people in a new model, which give a information platform that was agreed by all for a mass of information. In particular, with the integrate with a wide range of expert systems and various information systems, it brings people much more than convenient and information, it expresses the knowledge and intelligence, which can develop the latest, optimal decision support to today's fast developing societyIn recent years, along with the increasing complex social security situations and the changes of police command concept and police mechanism, the existing command center system cannot efficiently support the police practices any more. This paper creatively applies the Geographic Information System to police affairs and makes a research on a highly efficient and unified command decision-making system which is based on the map space with the intention to improve the police decision-making capability and the command precision as well as strengthen the command decision-making function of command center with scientific method.
