Deformation monitoring is an important mean in monitoring safety for the deformable body, which is long-term and repeating survey work that aims at the point move conditions in monitoring the deformable body with its key point staying at catching the deformation information in the sensitive deformation positions and each periodic survey. GPS as a modern space positioning technology is a new technology which has replaced the traditional methods of optical and electronic measurement in many measurement areas, including deformation monitoring areas. GPS monitoring can reduce the field works and improve work efficiency greatly, then lead to the direct economic benefit. However, GPS as a different from the traditional monitoring technology, its own data and the sequence of deformation monitoring data are all needed to be dealt with effectively in order to meet the needs of deformation monitoring. So the research for GPS technology applied to monitor the deformation and deformation monitoring data processing has realistic and academic significance.Based on the processing of the GPS measurement error sources and the impact rules, as well as how to reduce the errors and the impact of various methods to be analyzed, this thesis expounds that GPS measurement technology applied to the operating mode of deformation monitoring and the technological design of deformation monitoring network; At the same time, this thesis introduces the main technology of the GPS deformation monitoring data processing, compares the advantages and disadvantages of various treatment technologies and points out some existing problems.Wavelet analysis is a signal analysis method of high performance, so the thesis applies wavelet theory to the processing of GPS deformation monitoring data, researches the GPS deformation monitoring data to detect gross errors and pick up useful signal of strong noise background based on the wavelet theory, and combined with the crust deformation monitoring examples from the perspective of completed defective data, gross error detection and data de-noising to deal with GPS deformation monitoring data, then gets a satisfied result, thus verify the feasibility and effectivity of the GPS deformation monitoring data processing method which is based on wavelet theory.
