The Jinchuan Cu-Ni sulphide mineral field locates in Jinchang Gansu Province. It is famous for its' great scales and high grade ore. Four Cu-Ni deposits have been discovered and all of them are hosted within the ultrabasic intrusions.Based on the predecesors's work, the thesis makes geological investigation carefully, and gleans a great amount of geological information. Begining with investigation of the geological features of three deposits, the relationship among the ore-foming and stratum, structure, magmatic rock has been analysed according to modern petrology, deposit theory, geochemistry, mineralogy and isotope geology theory and method. According to the studies, it has been not only summarized metallogenetic rules but also analysed varies ore-controlling factors in the dissertation. Then it is got complete understanding about Jinchuan Cu-Ni sulphide mineral field. From the systematic investigation of No.58 orebody, a new opinion of genetic type about No.58 orebody has been brought forward. Through the studies about ore-controlling structure, source of metallogenic elements and conditions of metallogenic, a new metallogenetic model has being established.According to the studies, the thesis reaches the following conclusions: Being different with predecesors's opinion, No.58 orebody belongs to hydrothermal filling-type, but not a contact metasomatic-type. Structure is the most important ore-controlling factor in this deposit. The ore-forming process of No.58 ore body has different phases because of activities of structure and magma. The metallogenic element of No.58 ore body is coming from ultrabasic intrusion. After anylysed the metallogenetic factors and summarizing metallogenetic rules, the prospecting target areas and prognosis prospective province have been discussed.
