As the key technology of electromagnetic launch, the pulsed power supply is of high voltage, pulsed high current and high power. The main functions of the pulsed reactor are current limiting and pulse width adjustment. With the development of pulsed power supply, the strong magnetic field of pulsed reactor restricts the miniaturized of the whole model. This paper is regarding the characteristics of the magnetic field and electromagnetic force around the pulsed reactor. The main works are concluded as follows:First, by means of the theoretical analysis and research of electromagnetic force, theoretical computing module of pulsed reactor model was established. Based on the model structural parameters, the pulsed magnetic field in different positions can be calculated.The paper use MATLAB for computing and processing.With the abstracted assumption, the model of pulsed magnetic field was induced with the method of circuit coupled and magnetic field coupled. The universal laws of the electromagnetic force around the pulsed reactor were discussed by special examples.Then, the two-dimensional electromagnetic field model was established by Ansoft Maxwell 2D software, the nephogram of magnetic induction intensity and the graphs of electromagnetic force were attained.Based on the contrastive analysis mentioned above and a simple force transmission design, the experiment about the magnetic field and electromagnetic force was conducted. A self-making three-dimensional Hall probe and 9104 force-sensor were used in the experiment. This paper discussed the different experiment results under different voltages.Through this thesis, a research has been made on the pulsed magnetic field and electromagnetic force around the pulsed reactor, which is a good guidance on the miniaturized design of pulsed power supply module.
