Guided by plate tectonic theory, deposit, petrology and tectonics,this paper analyzes the metallogenetic geotectonic setting, geological and geochemistry characteristics, genesis in Ulu Sokor gold deposit,and established the metallogenetic model preliminarily.And combiled with signs of geophysics and geochemistry, this paper prognoses some hidden ore bodies in the sides, deep and periphery around the known ore bodies.The main research findings and original views achieved in this paper are as follows:(1) Locating in the central structure zone in peninsular malaysia, the main outcrop in the mine district is a suit of Permian-Triassiac marine neutral-acidic volcanic sediment rocks, including phyllite, tuffaceous phyllite, tuff, sandy slate mixing with minor carbonaceous phyllite and limestone. And the ore bodies beared in the interlayered fractured zones and sheared zones in phyllite, tuff, and marble.(2) The main ore-control structures are NS Fault zones and a series of secondary structure, including interlayered fractured zones in Mason's lode, folded structure zones and Fault structure zones in New Discovery, otherwise ore-bearing sheare zones in central and northern part of the mine district. By analyzing the main rule of combination of the main ore-control structures, it is believed that the main ore-control structures had undergone four episodes'tectonic stress, including nearely EW compression, nearely NW compression, nearely NE compression and nearely EW stretching.(3) Combining with geology characteristics of the ore bodies, on the basic of analyzing the isotopes and fluid inclusion of the pyrite and quartz of main minerogentic period, it is believed that the sourse of Au is mantle source, and the ore-forming fluid rooted from magmatic hydrothermal fluid, and a little rooted from metamorphic hydrothermal fluids.(4) Combiled with the characteristics of geology of other gold deposits locating in the central belt in Malaysia and tectonic evolution characteristics, Sources of Ore-forming Materials, it is believed that the collision during Indosinian stage between easthern and northern terrain in peninsular malaysia that established the pattern of the ore-control structures in the regional.With the magma differentiation and evolution, Ore-bear fluid formed and assembled deep in the crust. Derived by the process of magma and structural evolution, ore-bear fluid ascent and formed the Ore body.(5) Base on Ore-controling factors and Metallogenesis, this paper proposes some directions of prospecting mineral deposits.Furthermore, this paper gives some predictions to the depth portion and sides of the known ore bodise, and some predictions had been identified by mineral deposits'prospecting protrects such as drilling and trench.
