There are many types of reservoirs in the west of Daqing placanticline where the oil-water relationship is very complex. Its Putaohua reservoir has primarily medium porosity and low permeability. The sandbody connectivity is poor and heterogeneity is strong. It is difficult to identify the reservoir fluid property accurately by using conventional logging data.NMR logging shows the advantages in getting reservoir information such as effective porosity, free fluid porosity, irreducible water porosity, pore size distribution and permeability. It can type hydrocarbons and quantify their volumes by the method of weighted longitudinal relaxation T1 and weighted diffusion coefficient D. Provide a more complete scheme for the reservoir evaluation. However, some existing interpretation method and empirical parameters can not be fully applicable due to complex geological conditions of the reservoir. The application of NMR logging has been limited. Further research for NMR interpretation is needed in this area.In this paper, choose Putaohua reservoir in the west of Daqing placanticline as the main research objectives. Based on experimental core data to determine the NMR interpretation model of porosity, irreducible water saturation and permeability. Established the regional relation model of T2 cutoff. Based on mercury intrusion experimental data to establish a regional model of transferring coefficient by which can get the simulated capillary pressure curve and calculate the parameter characterizing pore structure of rock . Combined with the well test result to do reservoir classification research. Established basic regional mode of NMR logging. Combined NMR logging with conventional logging data to identify reservoir fluid properties, All these researches have laid the foundation on enhancing the application level of NMR logging in the west of Daqing placanticline.
