Antennal Sensilla, maxillary palpus and labial palpus of Gomphoceridae (Orthoptera: Gomphoceridae) were studied using SEM. The paper was consisted of four parts:①The differences of the types, numbers and distributions of sensilla on antennae of Gomphoceridae.②The differences of the types, numbers and distributions of sensilla on antennae among Gomphocerus, Dasyhippus, Myrmeleotettix I and Aeropedelus.③The difference of the sillal types, numbers and disstributions of sensilla on antennae among Dasyhippus barbipes (F.–W.) and Dasyhippus peipingensis (Chang) in geneus of Dasyhippus, and among Mymeleotettix palpalis (Zub.) and Mymeleotettix longipennis Zhang. in geneus of Mymeleotettix.④The differences of the types, numbers and distributions of sensilla on maxillary palpus and labial palpus among Gomphoceridae,Arcypteridae,Oedipodidae and Acrididae. The results showed that, in terms of antennal sensilla:①13 kinds of sensilla were observed on the antennae of six species of Gomphoceridae, including Sensilla trichoid I, Sensilla trichoid II, Sensilla chaetica I, Sensilla chaetica II, Sensilla basiconic I, Sensilla basiconic II, Sensilla basiconic III, Sensilla basiconic IV, Sensilla basiconic V, Sensilla coeloconic, Sensilla cavity, Bohm bristles and Sensilla sporangium.②Among 13 types of antennal sensilla, sensilla chaetica I, sensilla chaetica II, sensilla basiconic I, sensilla basiconic II, sensilla basiconic III, sensilla basiconic IV, sensilla basiconic V, sensilla coeloconic and sensilla cavity were mainly distributed on the enlarged part of antennae, and others with a scattered distribution.③In terms of sensilla types, eleven types of sensilla were found on the antennae of Gomphocerus, and sensilla chaetica I and sensilla sporangium were not found; twelve types of sensilla were found on the antennae of Gomphocerippus, and sensilla sporangium was not found; also twelve types of sensilla were found on the antennae of Dasyhippus and Myrmeleotettix, sensilla chaetica I was not found. In terms of sensilla number, the number of antennal sensilla of Dasyhippus was the biggest, followed by Gomphocerippus and Gomphocerus, Myrmeleotettix had the least number. The types and numbers of antennal sensilla were stability in the same family, and the magnitude of changes is a large rooms.④It was not significant difference in the types, numbers of antennal sensilla among different species through the studies on the Dasyhippus and Myrmeleotettix. In terms of sensilla on the maxillary palpus and labial palpus:①Sensilla trichoid I, sensilla trichoid II, sensilla chaetica and sensilla basiconic were found on the maxillary palpus and labial palpus of six species of Gomphoceridae.②The number of sensilla on the maxillary palpus was larger than that on the labial palpus of six species of Gomphoceridae. It had not significant difference in the number of Sensilla trichoid, sensilla chaetica and sensilla basiconic between the maxillary palpus and the labial palpus. But the number of sensilla on the maxillary palpus and the labial palpus of G. rufus (L.) and G. sibiricus sibirucus (L.) were the largest.③Sensilla trichoid II was mainly distributed on the end of maxillary palpus and the labial palpus. Sensilla trichoid and sensilla basiconic was found on all segments of maxillary palpus and the labial palpus, but mainly on the enlarged part.
