The Development And Application Of The Open WebGIS Based On Geoserver

GIS belongs to multidisciplinary and the cross edge discipline, which has already been 40 years of history. It has been the development of various disciplines and penetration. Multimedia technology and database technology, network and communication technology, network storage technology progress for the rapid development of GIS further provides more convenient conditions. On the other hand, the informationization of the national economy construction, to speed up the pace of professions in geographical spatial data acquisition,storage,processing, analysis,using and data sharing aspects of increasing demand. With developing of various data collection technology, quantity of Geographical spatial data growth unprecedentedly. These show that only getting more close with network and Intelligence,GIS could fit objective requirement of social development, and it could be providing high quality service for society.According to studying and contrast of WebGIS system structure,implementation patterns,spatial database management mode and all sorts of mainstream software, I adoptted geoserver,Postgresql+postgis(spatial database+spatial SDE) and UDIG building open webgis system then publish it.The system uses China's national foundation geographical data which is made by The national geographic information center. Attributes of spatial database show with Chinese characters, it can show the data according to the scale, the system also can do some easy select and so on.The realistic significances of the paper are in the following respects:(1) Nowadays network has penetrated into every aspect of life, Management and release the spatial data using webgis system not only can make people getting data more quickly,but also can real-time update the data.Make sure the correctness, integrity and fresh of the data.(2) Management and release the spatial data using webgis system can improve sharing of data,avoid duplication of work and the waste of resources.(3) Management and release the spatial data using webgis system can reduce costs during development and use.(4) Using open-source characteristic of open webgis system, developers can better understand webgis software designer's purpose,and can maximize the strengths of open webgis system.
