With the society developing, human becomes emphasis on environmental pollution control more and more, especially in breeding areas. Black Soldier Fly is a scavenger belonging Dipteral insects, maggots are used to process solid waste generated in animal and poultry livestock. But there are many problems in continuous culture of Black soldier fly and the inculcation density in Swine manure. The rare researches were done about this aspect, so we did this work. This study consists of three parts:Part 1:The continuous rearing methods for black soldier fly, Hermetia illucens (L.) under the natural condition of the tropical monsoon climate. The hatching of eggs and the feeding of larvae were completed in rearing room, Mating and Oviposition were achieved in a bed net (2 m×1.8 m×1 m) in a plastic shed outdoor (15 m×6 m×2 m) where sunlight, temperature and humidity were under natural conditions. The result indicates that:BSF have ability to breed under the tropical monsoon climate throughout the year. Hatching in the rearing room during 2-6 days, the larvae were fed 20-23 days and then entered the prepupal stage. After 8-11 days, the eclosion of adults could be observed in mosquito nets placed in plastic greenhouse. Hundreds flutes of eggs were collected by dry cardboard egg traps.Part 2:The technology for Swine manure bioconversion under the condition of the tropical monsoon climate was studied in Hainan China. The different densities of 4 days larvae inoculated in the Swine manure to study the relationship between the inoculation density and the capacity of Swine manure bioconversion. The results showed that:with the density of inoculation increasing, maggots can consume 41-51% of Swine manure dry matter. Dry weight of prepupal accounted for 10.6-15.1% of raw Swine manure (dry weight). At last,1000/kg was the optimal inculcation density. Under this density, maggots can consume 51%of Swine manure dry matter, Dry weight of prepupal accounted for 15.1%of raw Swine manure.Part3:The nutrients, mineral elements and several kinds of heavy metals of larvae body, Swine manure after feeding larvae and raw swine manure were analyzed and compared. It indicates that:Under the optimal inculcation density, the reduction of total nitrogen in manure was 58%; total phosphorus reduction of 30%; copper, zinc, manganese and other heavy metals also have relatively large reduction. Inoculation density in the best conditions (1000/kg), nutrient contents in larvae were:protein 42.2%, 22.9% crude fat, crude ash 14.8%; copper content of 22 mg/kg lower than the national animal feed standard (GB/T13885-2003/ISO 6869:2000). It's necessary to control the inoculation density in large-scale bioconversion of pig manure.
