| Offshore structure has been played a gigantic role in exploiting ocean resources. On account of big size, high investment, complicated structure and working in abominable circumstance, offshore structure was prone to be damaged. There were plenty of incidents in the history, and they resulted in great economical loss and adverse social influence. So the safety assessment to the platform shows its importance in academic research.Risk assessment and Reliability theory were used to analyze the offshore structural safety in this paper. Some methods were introduced about the risk assessment and reliability analysis. Besides, their advantages and disadvantages were studied. The process of the safety assessment of the platform was introduced. One practical jacket platform was analyzed by Delphi method to calculate its quantitative risk of launch and self-upending process, and then use stochastic simulation method to calculate its failure probability. In the quantitative risk assessment, the safety probability of platform launching was gotten. In reliability analysis, use the analysis results to verify the engineering practicability of the simplified limit state equation. Reserve strength factor method and Monte Carlo method were compared and introduced the accuracy and application conditions of each method. |
