| 1,2-Epoxyhexane is a kind of important chemical intermediates. With active epoxy groups which can be used in the preparation of a series compound, it is widely applied in pharmaceuticals, textile, pesticides and surfactant. Industrial preparation technologies of epoxy compound by olefins such as chlorohydrination process, Halcon process and catalytic oxidation process are reviewed in this paper, among which catalytic oxidation is the best one with the features of fewer procedures, fewer byproducts and environmental benign. Biomimetic catalysis oxidation is the most favored catalytic oxidation method. Consisting of catalysts, oxygents and solvents, Biomimetic oxidation catalysis system is an efficient model of mimicking the activity of cytochrome P-450 for preparing epoxy compounds by olefins, through which the recation of oxidate 1-hexene to 1,2-epoxyhexane could undergo successfully in mild conditions. Producing 1,2-epoxyhexane by biomimetic catalysis oxidation is environmental friendly with the advantages of little catalyst dosage but high conversion and selectivity. In this paper, process conditions of 1-hexene oxidated to 1,2-epoxyhexane was studied. Firstly, factors such as reaction temperature, catalyst dosage, bubbling rate of oxygen, alkali concentration and reaction time are investigated. Thenthe optimal conditions were studied by orthogonal experiment. The results showed that the conversion of 1-hexene was up to 95.04%,and the maximum selectivity and yield of 1,2-epoxyhexane were 98.33% and 93.45% respectively under the optimum conditions:300K,5.6×10-5 g/ml of catalyst dosage, 200mL/min of oxygen bubbling rate, molar ratio=1:1 for 5h in dichloromethane solvent. |
