During the process of the development of Concast technology, the mould oscillation technology is the key to the success of Concast. The one direction of the modem iron and steel industry is High-speed Casting, to which the core technology is still the mould oscillation technology. The mould oscillation technology has better effects on increasing the cast speed, avoid the sticking between the strand shell and mould inner wall, obtaining the excellent strand surface quality.The movement locus precision of mould oscillation equipment does much influence on strand surface quality. In existing technology, the nonnal way is adopting the four-bar linkage mechanism to imitate the arc or the linear movement. On the theoretical analysis, its movement precision can meet the requirement, while in the operation, because of the abrasion of bearings in gemel, which do much greater effect on movement than the former, its movement precision goes much beyond the theoretical value. So how to decrease the abrasion of bearings becomes one of the important researching subjects. One of new ideas is to throw off the bearings and change the bars into leaf springs and depend on the spring抯 inflect deforming to realize the movement. Around the idea, some new oscillation mechanisms are produced. The popular are single-leaf spring oscillation mechanism and resonance mould.In this paper, the introduction to the development of Concast mould oscillation is available at first. Then, taking the coordinates of every gemel as the optimization variables, the optimization analyses with the improved constrain terms, aiming to the load on the leaf spring and the structure of mechanism, is applied on the four-bar linkage mould oscillation mechanism and the single-leaf spring oscillation mechanism. Furthermore, the three models of Resonance Mould oscillation are built and their load and stress are analyzed with Finite Element Software of Super-Algor. Also, the comparison among the three models is available.During the analyses, the problem of the relation between leaf spring抯 load and its deforming was confronted first, so the paper also does some research on it. The deficiency of the present pole-beam element model is found and as the follow, the new pole-beam element model is improved. On the basis of Virtual Work Principle, the relation between node displacement and node load is educed and it will be the foundation of the later optimization design and dynamics analyses for Resonance Mould oscillation mechanism.
