In this paper, the preparation method of silk fibroin(SF)-PVP blend film was studied, and its structure, strength and elongation, initial modulus, hygroscopic absorption and water-vapor permeation were tested at different blending ratio. It was shown that the blend film had good strength and elongation, flexibility, hygroscopic absorption and fine water-vapor 4 permeation when the content of PVP was appropriate. This will improve the therapeutic efficacy of wound-covering silk fibroin protective film and provide a new type of silk fibroin film.
