The Research And Development Of Servo Feed CAD System Of NC Machine

CAD/CAM technology is a emerging technology, which can improve the product quality, shorten the cycle of product development, and reduce the labor intensity. Its research and application level is not only one of important symbols evaluating the science and technology progress of a country, but also a urgent affairs of modern mechanical engineering in need of being resolved.This paper integrates theory with practice, follows the principles and methods of software engineering, setup the constitutes frame of NC machine servo feed CAD system, and finishes the research and development of four modules of servo feed CAD system, such as Graphical User Interface Module, Design and Compute Module, Database Management System and Graphics System, by using Object Orient Programming (OOP) technology, Borland C++ Builder 5.0 Database Engine (BDE), parametric feature model technology and 3D solid modeling technology.Of those, the main function of Graphical User Interface Module is to manage Graphical User Interface and Interface Programming. The main function of Design and Compute Module is to taking on selecting the construction, the parts and Checking the design results of Servo Feed CAD System. The main function of Graphics System is to draw the assembly graphics of Servo Feed System by the design results. The main of Database is to save and give the design results, graphics and the assembly drawings. The system integrates design system, key datum and graphics system into a consistent user development environment by using integration technology and a few interface programming.The CAD system has the features of high convenience, high automation degree, high expansibility and can improve design efficiency and production quality and reduce the cost in design and production. Simultaneously, it has very high use value and wide application prospect.
