In view of the serious pollution of industry boilers in China, The aqueous catalyzed method of FGD is considered to be fit for medium and small flow quantity. Experiments of aqueous catalyzed oxidation by adding different transition metal ions are carried out in a bubbling reactor. At last, Mn-Fe synergistic effect on FGD is confirmed. The influence and varying law of different experimental conditions on desulfurized efficiency of Mn-Fe system are studied, and on these results magnified dynamic tests in JBR-reactor is carried out. All studies demonstrate that it is feasible for medium and small scale industry boilers that removal SOx from flue gas by flowing through Mn-Fe solution in JBR-reactor.
