Currently, there are several matters in the process of empoldering mine resource in the south of Sichuan, such as badly synthetical using, too much resource loss, single and cheap products, serious environment pollution and low economic beneflt. Glass-ceramic and sulfuric aluminate cement are both abio-nonmetal material. They have excellent capabilities, extensive using and high additive value. So we can utilize gangue kaolin in the south of Sichuan to produce sulfuric aluminate cement and glass-ceramic. It can not only make the best of the mine resource in the south of Sichuan, help the mine corporation break away from mess, improve economic benefit, but also solve the serious environment pollution problem.Basing on the status of synthetically utilizing the gangue from sulfuric iron mine in the south of Sichuan, the subject just utilizes the gangue kaolin to produce sulfuric aluminate cement and glass-ceramic. The sticking point is to fish out the best prescription and the best technics system for producing sulfuric aluminate cement and glass-ceramic. At the same time, we should try to increase the using ratio of the gangue kaolin too.In the process of study, through analyzing phase diagram of cement, designing material element and adjusting prescription and calcining temperature, we gained the best prescription and the best technics system for producing the rich-silicon, rich-iron and rich-aluminum sulfuric aluminate cement; through designing crystal phases of glass-ceramic and adjusting material prescription, we gained dark and weak color glass-ceramic with excellent capabilities. At onetime, we produced the outgrovvth------Fe-Al purificant. And the using ratio of the gangue kaolinis over 70 percent. So high using ratio of the gangue kaolin to produce glass-ceramic hasn't been discovered in the vvorld.The forming and hydrating mechanism of the sulfuric aluminate cement's minerals are discussed in the study. Then the paper indicates these minerals have effects on the cement's intensity. And the paper probes into the functions of Fe2O3 > TiO, and P2O5 in forming glass, forming crystalloid and glass' color.The study indicates it is feasible to utilize gangue kaolin in the south of Sichuan to produce sulfuric aluminate cement and glass-ceramic. And it has significant meaning for continentlydeveloping mining in the south of Sichuan and achieving the resource-environment-economy's developing together.Because of lacking of expenses and Hmited time, some defects exist in the study. Some experiments on the best dustrial prescription and widening the prescription need to be carried out in future.
