The zinc oxide powder obtained by this method was test by XRD, TEM, IR, BET, EDTA chemical analysis ICP and so on. The results show that purity of ZnO is over 99.8%, the shape of crystalline is in hexagonal structure, and its has an average diameter of 23 nm with good dispersibility. The specific surface area is over 54 m2 per gram. Each technic index is better than its relative ultra-fine ZnO standard of HG/T25 72-94. So it will offer good reference value to industry test of nanometer zinc oxide from zinc mineral and will take on application foreground expansively.
