The acidic dioscorea wastewater with super high concentration, thick color, and acidity is a sort of pharmaceutical wastewater, which is hard to treat. It is a very important kind of wastewater that appeared recently. Nowadays, no successful treatment technology has occurred. Sufficient mixing micro-electrolytic method in combination with anaerobic bio-treatment was put forward on the basis of wastewater character study and field survey, taking acidic dioscorea wastewater which drained from the process that uses hydrochloric acid as the activator as the study object.The static is focused on run parameters and influence factors of sufficient mixing micro-electrolytic method, and the anaerobic inhibition of micro-electrolytic cell effluent as well.The static experiment on micro-electrolytic method shows the reaction time is the important influencing factor, the quantity o f cast iron is the less important influencing factor, and the quantity of coke has no influence on the treatment effect.The dynamic experiment on micro-electrolytic method shows that the micro-electrolytic method has most economical effect, under the condition that quantity of cast iron is 25g/L, reaction time is 5min, initial pH value is 2.0, adjusting pH value to 11.0 when neutralize the micro-electrolytic cell effluent, and the aeration time is 5min,the removal efficiency of COD is up to above 20%, and the removal efficiency of color is 80%.Within 1657-4970mg/L of contact concentration, the effluent of micro-electrolytic cell has satisfactory anaerobic biodegradation. The 3 days of relative gas accumulationrate (a ) of every wastewater concentration were all above 1.56, and the 30 days of relative gas accumulation rate (P ) of every wastewater concentration were all above 1.57, and the relative gas accumulation rate curve were all above that of the contrast one. The anaerobic digestion couldn't be inhibited a bit. It is available and feasible to treat the effluent by anaerobic digestion.The results of this experiment show the feasibility and the practicality of this treatment process, which acidic dioscorea wastewater is treated by sufficient mixing micro-electrolytic cell in combination with anaerobic bio-treatment.This experiment founded the testing basis for the thoroughly disposal of the acidic dioscorea wastewater. It not only offered details for the treatment project design on the acidic dioscorea wastewater, which drained from the process that uses hydrochloric acid as the activator, but also offered references for the treatment on the acidic dioscorea wastewater, which drained from the process that usessulfuric acid as the activator.
