| Application of photosynthetic bacteria(PSB) on the treatment of high concentration dye wastewater was investigated in this dissertation.Culture conditions, immobilization method of PSB and treatment of actual dye wastewater with immobilized PSB cells were mainly studied. Firstly PSB was acclimated from common activated sludge. Under selective culture conditions,pure culture of PSB \vas isolated by means of agar dilution.Secondly, effect of temperature, pH and salinit\ on PSB \vere investigated on the base of pure culture .Finally.PSB was immobilized and applied to the treatments of simulated and actual dye wastewater. The results were valuable to the debugging of dye wastewater treatment engineers and it would provide theoretic basis for applying PSB treatment technique in actual dye wastewater.
