Be aimed at the super smooth surface of the crystallite glass substrate is to such base stuff and lapping-side demand.This dissertation was proposed the viewpoint of the crystallization for glass substrate stuff and obtained lapping specially side .The dissertation was summarized home and abroad the glass substrate development present situation and the being problem , Elaborate double-side lapping process mechanism ?A two-step crystallized technology for crystallite glass is put forward in the paper, the substrate crystallite glass with the best mechanical strength is obtained. Based on the analysis on the principle of double-side lapping, the actual lapping processes including rough lapping and fine lapping are developed. Through double-side rough lapping experiments using loose abrasive and solid abrasive, factors that affect the flatness, parallelism and surface roughness are investigated, double-side lapping technique with SiC of grain size W40 for rough lapping and JIS 1200 for fine lapping is scheduled. The double-side fine lapping result can meet the demands of next machining procedure that is polishing.Additionally, the technique of lapping wheel dressing is discussed.
