The developing situation and poisonous for PVC thermal stabilizer were discussed in the present paper.With consideration of the economical and manufacture state of our country,We proposed that the non toxic thermal stabilizer should basen on calcium/zine blend meet the need for PVC progress around the world.According to the theory of PVC thermal stability and consideration with the information about non toxic calcium/zinc blend thermal stabilizer of Europe advanced countries,On the precondition of fullness the require of PVC thermal stability ,we adjust the mixing rate of calcium/zinc , increase the dosage of zinc that could improve the initial colour changing of PVC system. In addition we introduce some of assistant stabilizers to inhibit the "zinc burn" and artificial synthesizes hydrotalcite to absorb and replacement HCL, finally, we also add some hydrogen peroxide decompostion reagents in this blend system; Through the investigation of formulation, make an economic and excellent performance calcium/zinc blend thermal stabilizer. After a sericel of choice test , we get a non toxic calcium/zinc blend thermal stabilizer with excellent performance, this formulation give a good example to the further development of PVC non poisonous in china.The result of research indicate that addition of some proper assistant into the calcium/zinc system could improve the thermal effect of this non toxic stabilizers system , its performance approach to the high efficient lead thermal stabilizer and achieve the standard of German product.
