Generally, industrial computer with data acquisition card is used for DataAcquisition System (DAS) of Resistance Sport Welding (RSW), but there are manydisadvantages. A new way can solve these questions. That is a data acquisitionsystem which consists of some sampling terminals based on microcontroller and anet. This system has a lot of merits: working well under the circumstance of industry,applying easily, low cost, expanding simply and so on. Therefore, the research of thenew DAS is very essential to the detection of the quality of RSW.The work on hardware is to finish all of the circuit parts and connect them to a net.These parts are: sensors, signal processor, ADC, logic controller, power. Some ofthem are integrated in a powerful microcontroller C8051F206.The next work is programming for the system. Every microcontroller has the samesoftware. Each terminal does its own work by setting its selection switch, whichmakes it easy to modify and debug the software, and saves the time as well.At last, the functions of every part are tested and the new DAS is passed by a directcurrent impulse resistance welding equipment.
