For improving mine ventilation management and developing mine ventilation work safely, economically, scientifically, it is significant to do the ventilation technical measurements well and fully master the firsthand materials of the mine ventilation. Because influenced by many factors such as economy and technology, domestic most coal mine in technical measurements of ventilation and safety rely mainly on using traditional instruments. Function of these traditional instruments is relatively single, and seldom has the ability to memory and process the measuring data. In order to reduce the quantity of instruments carried and improve the intelligent level of instruments, it is necessary to develop the research on integration and intelligence of ventilation and safety measuring instrument.The portable intelligent ventiliation –safety measuring instrument, which was designed on trial in this subject, is organic integration of singlechip technology and measuring instrument. It also is a singlechip application system taking 51 singlechip as its core. This paper uses the research and development course of singlechip application system as the main thread , It discusses in detail the determination of the instrument's functions and technical performance, the overall designing plans, the hardware designs, the software designs, the test of the instrument, and the deal and use of measuring data. This paper emphasizes the hardware and software designs.In these designs the modularized design method is used.The portable intelligent ventiliation –safety measuring instrument, which was designed on trial in this subject, can measure some parameters such as pressure difference, temperature, humidity, absolute pressure, wind speed and gas content,etc.The instrument can memory some parameters of lane. The measurement results and data-in of ventilation-safety parameters can be shown in real time, and all collection information can be stored in real time.The instrument can transmit collected data to computer through communication. Its use can better resolve some problems working with traditional instrument such as having big workload and not good accuracy and dependability etc. Practice has proved that it is correct to research on integration and intelligence of ventilation and safety measuring instrument, and it can be study further. ...
