CNC system is gradually developing toward flexible, component modular and re-configurable of open CNC system's structure. It's beginning a research direction in open CNC system with the software reuse and re-configurable technology. This paper in well-knit CNC development states, based on the expound of concepts and characteristics of component technology, open CNC system's basal concepts, characteristics, goals and demands are analyzed based on COM and open CNC system's contented basal criterions are put forward.Researched the CNC system structures of foreign and homeland, based on open CNC system characteristics, referenced OSACA system structure,An open CNC system structure based on COM is produced and analyzed thoroughly. According to opening characteristics of component software, combined with open CNC system structure based on COM, the CNC system's components are marked out logically all-sided and systemic in term of component's functions and inside logic structures. Based on COM criterion, development CNC components' basic method is brought forward. With the characteristics of binary language irrelevant, thread-transparent, re-configurable and normative interface of COM technology, open CNC system components are designed.Analyzed the inter-components' data-flow relations and task schedulers, connected with the developed components on developing environment, a CNC prototype system is developed. This CNC prototype system has some opening characteristics and simulates the motion tracks.Lastly the CNC system's real-time and multitask characteristics based on Windows flat are analyzed and researched in solving the CNC system's real-time intermit in Windows environment by VxD technology.
