The Engineering Design Of 75% DDT WP Production Equipment Of 2000t Capacity Per Year

Malaria is a kind of disease spread by mosquitoes. It often outbreaks in the tropic areas of Africa and has resulted in the death of tens of thousands of people every year. Ethiopia is a one of the poorest countries and the one of the most serious malaria regions in the world. In order to effectively prevent and control malaria and to make full use of the local present resources, Ethiopian government decided to co-operate with our company to produce malaria-control pesticides--DDT 75% WDP (Water Dispersible Powder) and other relevant pesticides.DDT's chemical name is Dichloro–Diphenyl-Trichloroethane( C14H9Cl15). The water dispersible powder of this product is used for the control of Malaria in Africa. This article has described the design of DDT Water Dispersible Powder production line and equipped machinery based on the present conditions of Tulu Pesticides Factory of Ethiopia. This production line has the following advantages:Sufficiently make use of the original layout and space, and reduced the cost of the construction.The world advanced fluid-bed airflow grander was chosen according to the character that DDT have a lower melting point (74-74.5℃). Therefore, the problem of lumping during crushing was solved thoroughly.Make full use of the original facilities and reasonably arrange the technical flows.The new and old equipment were perfectly connected and utilized to minimize the investment of the equipment.Make full use of one production line to produce vary kinds of powder pesticides so that the efficiency of it can be developed.This design was approved unanimously by the board of directors of Tulu Pesticides Factory. The construction of this project began in the year 2000 and was successfully completed and went into operation at its first test run in October, 2000.The project was highly praised by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Agriculture of Ethiopia. As a result, the exporting of raw materials valued around two million US Dollars can be guaranteed and a profit of millions of RMB are beneficial to us.
