The injection molding is an automatic technique of polymer processing, by which multiple parts with tight tolerances and complex shape can be produced in a single operation. It has importance status in plastic industry.This dissertation focuses on numerical technology and design optimization theory for injection molding. Many studies and researches of molding are summed up. The numerical simulation methodology and optimization algorithms are integrated to optimize gate location of mold design. A new optimization method of experience search is founded. The relationship between gate location and parts quality is analyzed, basic rules of design gate concluded, and special guide rule to optimize design of gate location for plastic products advanced. On the basis of the fast flow simulation, they are developed that a new gate optimization method of exhausted method for a single gate, and new optimization of adaptive simulated annealing genetic algorithm for multi-gate.According to the analysis and discuss, the new optimization methods is effective.
