Study On Remote Production Process Monitoring System Of Aluminum Electrolysis

According to the characteristics of aluminum electrolysis production, a remote monitoring system used to the production process of aluminum electrolysis was studied and developed in this paper.The system developed in this paper includes the following three modules: the online data collection and storage for production report formation, the long-distance monitoring of production process, and the data query and analysis. The first module is used to collect the data related to production , to transfer the data long-distantly and to store them by type. All these can work as the data source of the module of data analysis and processing. The function of the query and analysis module is to remotely monitor the parameters of the electrolytic cell through the man-machine conversation method. In this module the production report data is managed and queried by computer, the work status of the specified electrolytic cell can be monitored, the main parameters of production process can also be analyzed and the basic data can be maintained. Through tracking and analyzing the parameters of a single electrolytic cell, the system can provide the feedback information to production control and ensure the production security. Based on the real-time data collection and storage, the alarming function is set up in this system when the inspected parameters beyond the threshold value. The section query and the decision-making analysis are also built up, which can be used as the basis of production process decision-making.The system developed in this paper can be run as an independent system, furthermore it can be integrated with the existed ERP system of aluminum electrolysis plant to promote the management informationization level. As an application example, the above system has been implemented in Shanxi Hengyu Aluminum Co. and good results have been obtained.
