At present, it is a hotspot to research the treatment of the high concentration organicindustrial wastewater, which has high COD and low biodegradability. Traditionalcoagulation and precipitation perform badly for this kind of wastewater and contributelittle to the latter treating units. This paper expatiated the pre-treatment method upon threekinds of high concentration organic wastewater: dioscin wastewater, yeast wastewater anddyeing wastewater. The technical conditions, designing parameters and running effectswere studied by using inner-electrolysis process. We also accomplished the designing,construction and system debugging of the project, which combing inner-electrolysis withbiochemical treatment units. During the debugging process, the better running parameterswere optimized and got better treatment effect in the end. The results showed that: (1) Inner-electrolysis integrates some physical chemistry functions such ascoagulation, adsorption and chemical oxidation-reduction, and it can degrade many kindsof contaminants in the same time. It is a better pretreatment method and can be applied inbroad fields. (2) For some kinds of high acidic concentration organic wastewater, such as dioscinand yeast wastewater, the acidity, COD and color can be effectively removed byinner-electrolysis pretreatment. Meanwhile, the biodegradability of the wastewater can beimproved because of the ratio of B/C were increased. (3) The combination of inner-electrolysis and bio-chemical process for dioscinwastewater treatment was an effective process if the technical conditions were bettercontrolled. After treatment with this combination process, the discharge can meet with thefirst class of Integrated Discharge Standard of Water Pollutions (GB8978-1996). Thisprocess is feasible, saving investment and easy to manage. It is a new process of utilitypracticability in the treatment of dioscin wastewater.
