In the practice of anti-fire and fire-extinguishing in coal mine, CO has been widely used as the index in domestic and overseas coal mine as the indicator and quite a gpod effect has been acquired. However, in some coal seam or coal mine, there exists some primary CO which is neglected or not studied further. So the law of its existence and its influence on coal spontaneous combustion is not grasped, which lead to the mistakes of predicting fire and negative influence on the safety of production in the coal mine.In this study the exploring data of spontaneous combustion of coal from coal seams which are in different levels, have varied quality and varied geological structure in Dashuitou Coal Mine of Jingyuan Coal Mining Limited Company are compared and analyzed. The coal samples are got by drilling alternatively and analyzed with chromatogram. The density of CO is measured and the law of CO existence and its going out is grasped. The primary CO and its increment from spontaneous combustion while mining in the coal seam are distinguished exactly, which lead that the prediction of spontaneous combustion of coal is more accurate.The main finding of the study is as follows.1. There exists CO in the primary coal seam and its quantity is different in different areas, and there is much in some areas.2. The law of existence of the primary CO in the coal seam in Dashuitou Coal Mine is found by analysis of the field exploring data.The quantity of CO is more in shallow coal seam and less in deep seam; The quantity of CO in hard coal which exists in groups is more than soft coal; The quantity of CO in the contrary fault is more than the open fault; The quantity of CO in the coal seam which has more CO2 is more; The quantity of CO in the dry coal seam is similarly more than in the wet seam. |
