The parallel kinematics machine tool has traits that are the diversification of structure and configure and the complexity of kinematics analyse and so on. Its NC system is so expert that it is difficult to develop. Based on the idea of software project, the paper presents an integrated open NC system for parallel kinematics machine tool. The NC system's universal modules include the decipher module, the human-computer interaction module and the tool track simulation module which can be used in common by parallel mechanisms. The NC system's special modules include the parallel mechanisms storehouse, the coordinates vary storehouse module and the kinematics vary storehouse module, which can be selected and used by all users. Users can put up the numerical control system meeting oneself s needs based on this numerical control platform The NC system provides a u environment of unity and integration, which can avoid studying NC system repeatedly and shortenned the design cycle.According to integrating , open design thought , structure the numerical control systematic hardware platform with " IPC +PMAC ". IPC as the host machine, it finishes the not real-time task,for instance decode , emulation ,etc. PMAC finishes the real-time character and requires higher task, for instance insert and mend processing.Design and develop the soft ware of NC systems according to the soft project thought and target -oriented design method. Regard Windows2000 as the operating platform, regard Visual C ++ as the programming environment , adopt module programming technology, is it make user interface to design , utilize trends chain storehouse realize move the directional control of the controller to PMAC. Develop integrate open NC system's auxiliary function such as move function, cutler compensate function and go home function ,etc.Aim at the parallel mechanisms ' structure form diversified characteristics, set up the parallel mechanisms library module and corresponding coordinate vary library module and kinematics vary library module etc. and integrate it to the integrate open NC system. Users can choose and revise the mechanisms' structure and parameter in parallel mechanisms through the intelligent man-machine interface . If parallel mechanisms in the parallel mechanisms library can not meet the requests of users, users can develop the parallel mechanisms and corresponding coordinate vary module , kinematics vary module etc, by oneself. through transfer in common use module can finish specific function require NC system. So, the integrate open NC system is suitable for various kinds of parallel mechanisms to drive and control.The decode module of this NC system may finish decode the G code of writing by hand , can also decode on the basis of the processing procedure file that MasterCAM and CorelDraw software turn into, thus the NC can finish the complicated part 's process.Propose one new-type 3 - HSS three degree of freedom parallel kinematics machine tool.. Carry on kinematics analysis , yardstick synthesizing and workspace analysis to the mechanism of connecting in parallel, and finish making. Utilize the integrate open NC system control this parallel kinematics machine tool to process, and get the correct processing orbit.
