| In this paper, current studying situation and application prospect of the phosphors for PDP was reviewed. Effect of doping and manufacture method on crystal structure and luminescence of phosphors for PDP were studied.The phosphors were obtained by the high temperature solid state reaction method and sol-gel method with barium carbonate, aluminium hydrate and manganese dioxide.In experience, green phosphor by the high temperature solid state reaction method was synthesized in the temperature 1300 with four hours ,which was synthesized by sol-gel method only in the temperature 1200 with four hours . Most of phosphors' atoms by the high temperature solid state reaction method were spliter and irregular,Crystal atom's diameter was more than 10 nm by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Most of which by sol-gel method were general globular. Crystal atom's diameter was between 6 and 10 nm It has a high emitting intensity according to the results of phosphors' excitation spectra.The effect of Mg ,Sr and La-doping on crystal structure and luminescence of the BaAl12O19:Mn phosphor for PDP was studied.The XRD results show Mg substitutes part of the Al position,while Sr and La substitute part of Ba.The doping of Mg makes the lattice parameter a larger,c smaller and the lattice volume become larger, while Sr and La substitute Ba make lattice parameter a,c and the lattice volume of BaAl12O19.Mn phosphor become smaller.In the appropriate range, the doping of Mg, Sr, La can increase the luminescent intensity of BaAl12O19. Effect of flux on luminescence BaAl12O19:Mn phosphor was studied.BaF2can improved greatly luminescence BaAl12O19:Mn phosphor.With the expression of BayMn0.05Al11.95O19+s, the correlation between host structure and the ratio of barium oxide and aluminate oxide was investigated in detail.It was at the range of 1.2 to 1.4 not of 0.82 to 1.32 according to the literatures to obtain the BaAl12O19:Mn phase. |
