Study On The Green Lake Everglade Park

Wetlands are regarded as the important land and natural resources just like forests, lands and oceans, together they are named as three ecosystems in the world. It is well known that wetland is " the kidney of the earth ". The functions are flood control, runoff regulation etc. Based on widely known survey and research of wetlands globally, guided by our country's polices related to wetlands, the Green Lake Everglade Park was built in this article, on the base of Green Lake Wetland's ripe natural resources and predominant place. In order to protect the ecosystem with biodiversity, the bridges, weirs and culverts etc, all the engineering's functions of water works such as link over water, etc, combination with the function of ecology were thought over. So as to a physical frame was built for the pattern of combination of artificial and natural wetlands for wastewater treatment, and a fit circumstance was given to all the animals and plants in the water. At the same time, in the design of the patter, the functions of not only treating wastewater but also landscaping were taken in, which will be the shelters for the manmade buildings. The Green Lake Everglade Park was set up with functions of flood control, food detention, runoff regulation, climate regulation, environmental beautification etc. From the daily management of artificial wetlands, experiences will be accumulated, so that it is significant for sustainable development of the society and economy.
