A kind of column desulphurization reagents made by pulverized coal ash, slaked lime , gesso and mental oxide was filled in the fixed-bed . The running condition and desulphur performance of adding some mental oxide were studied .The results showed that adding Fe2O3 to reagents can prominently improve the desulphurization performance.The results indicated under the conditions of 6mm diameter ,40 cm depth and 80 cm depth of column desulphurization reagents without adding mental oxide powder in a fixed-bed ,0.4 m/s of velocity of empty bed, 1800 mg/m3 of average SO2 inlet concentration ,the efficiency of 80% or more were maintained 2.57 hours and 12.03 hours.It was studied on mechanism of reagents which were added different mental oxides . Adding Fe2O3 can improve the duration of high desulphurization efficiency .In the experiments ,reagents of adding 4.5% Fe2O3 had the better desulphurization capability than other kind and quantity mental oxides .In the same running conditions ,the 1600 mg/m3 of average SO2 inlet concentration ,the efficiency of 80% or more were maintained 5.56 hours and 22.8 hours . Proportion of Ca(OH)2 to Fe2O3 (including the Fe2O3 of the pulverized coal ash )which was about 9.48:1 .Adding ZnO also can improve the efficiency of reagents ,but they have lower intention ,it's brickie when filled in the fixed-bed and pressure drop was very high .So it did not adapt to industry use . In the same running conditions ,adding MnO2 and MgO could not effectively improve reagents' efficiency .In the simulation moving-bed experiment, results showed the efficiency of SO2 removal and outlet SO2 concentration can be controlled by adjusting the move speed of reagents in the reactor .6 mm diameter ,40 cm depth of column desulphurization reagents , 0.4 m/s of velocity of empty bed,1800 mg/m3 of average SO2 inlet concentration ,through the mobile bed with 0.0295m/h . Maintaining the Ca/s 2.0 can control the outlet SO2 concentration in the moving-bed .In the similitude conditions , increasing the thickness of column desulphurization reagents layer, it is thicker than 0.96 m and falling velocity of the reagents is 0.0295m/h, so it can maintain the desulphurization efficiency higher than 99%.At the basis of analysis desulphurization mechanism and experiment result in fixed-bed ,duration of desulphurization , velocity of the line of SO2 concentration and utilization of valid Ca can be calculated .These calculation results can be used in the moving-bed and designed some kind system which used the same reagents .
