The Chamfering machine is a kind of special machine that mainly used to chamfer the end of pipe & tube. Because of the more and more higher chamfering precision the pipe & tube demand, the higher control precision and control level the Chamfering machines must reach. In this paper, a kind of position-adjusting servo system was approached. According to the system, its arithmetic was offered and the simulation was made.finally,computer control system applied for its control was designed.By analysis and comparing with other kind of control system, according to the demands of the servo system for the Chamfering machines, the servo cylinder of the system was designed, the parameters of the opponents that was used for control and feedback in the system was calculated. Finally, the mathematics model of the position-feedback system was established, according to the model, the simulation frame was provided.Next, the servo system's PID controller was designed. By programming,calculating, simulation, analysis, character of the system and its performance in frequency filed and time filed, difference of the system was analysised. As to the controller, the paper discussed several kinds of advanced digital PID control method as well as the rules and evaluation. By simulation, the function of rules and evaluation of the advanced PID controller was verificated.Construct the computer control system in hardware and software, it is used to control the servo system. By using windows as the operating system, the method of the computer's software programming was discussed.
