Study On Identification And Self-Tuning Control Of The 1370 Cold Strip Rolling Mill Gauge Control System

The accuracy of strip gauge is one of the two quality targets of strip production. It has been improved greatly with the development of rolling and control theory and its application. There are still many questions to resolve in practice. This article's based on 1370mm strip rolling technology reform of a certain precision sheet metal company. AGC system was studied in this article. First, based on the analysis of the original analog design, the author has participated in the improving of this hydraulic automatic gauge control system from analog control to digital control. This system uses stratification structure, the up and down computer complete Hydraulic gauge real-time control and gauge monitor separately. The author has drawn the whole circuit principle diagram and PCB diagram, and finished its installation and debug. According to the content of this article, author collected local true measure data. Second, the paper establishes dynamic math model of position closed-loop gauge control system using mechanism analysis method. Based on the test and calculation established the simple model. After the previous analyze, the study of the identification of hydraulic automatic gauge control system is done by many simulations and tests. This work make basis for the study of control arithmetic. Due to slow time-variation and random disturbance,such as the pedestal elasticity will change with pass, the character of the rolling mill will change with the temperature changing and so on, the model will change with this too. It is difficult for the PID control to adapt to the slow time-variation and uncertain. So the paper studied the self-tuning control methods using simulation method and receives result.
