The Research On The Relationship Between Density Of Lithographic Ink And Ink Thickness

The paper discussed the conditions which is met to add with the density when overprinting is happened. By using the formula of one-color ink thickness and ink density, the second density that correspond the first major density is transferred to the equal thickness. Then they are added together. According to the formula the real ink density is calculated.Comparing the traditional calculated result with measured result, averaged error is about 0.25. Comparing the calculated overprint density with measured result , averaged error is about 0. 06. The new method is more accurate than the traditional one.They are identical between calculated density and measured density. So that the conclusion of adding density is drawn. On the basis of the conclusion, color space of copy transform the ink color space, unknown factors are greatly reduced. The quantities of color matter which is measured are decreased , at the same time the accurate and efficiency are improved.
