Study On The Modification Of The Butyl Rubber Closure In Medical Field | | Posted on:2006-07-13 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:W Chen | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2121360152989095 | Subject:Materials science | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | This paper studied how the chlorobutyl rubber closures affected the defecation level change of cefazolin sodium solutions, and modified the chlorobutyl rubber closures by changing the filler systems in order to debase the influence that the closures done to the drug solutions and to better the closures' properties in use.In the research of the filling modification of the closures, we chose all kinds of filler systems such as kaolinite, powdered quartz, powdered quartz combined with kaolinite and calcium silicate combined with kaolinite. KH-550 & WD-10 were selected as silane coupling agents of the fillers. Aflux-25 was used as a dispersant to better the dispersant of the fillers in the rubber system. The experiment results showed that powdered quartz combined with modified kaolinite was an appropriate filler system. KH-550 had a better effect on the filler modification and Aflux-25 promoted the dispersant of fillers. The mechanics properties of the modified closure products had a promotion in a cetain extent.Many researchers considered that ion metal in the closures would affect drugs'defecation. According to this circumstance, we concentrated on the study of how ion metal affected drugs' defecation. The paper firstly extracted metal ions from the closures under different circumstances and tested the ion metal volume. The results showed that extraction volume of the ion metal was in a low level. Secondly, ion metal solutions of different concentration were made and titrated the cefazolin sodium solutions, and at the same time the change of defecation level of the drugs were also detected before and after drugs were titrated by a drug defecation detector. The results showed that the defecation level of the drugs didn't change after titration. On the other hand, the paper tested the ion metal volume of the drug solutions under the circumstance of the drugs' defecation lever was beyond the standard after an accelerated test done to the drugs. And the results indicated that the ion metal volume of the drug solutions was also in a low level under this circumstance. From all the above results, we can come to the conclusion that ion metal was not a main factor that resulted in the defecation lever drop of the cefazolin sodium solutions.This conclusion excluded people's suspicion on this question.What's more, the paper made a contrast on the modification effect of different processes and different coupling agents by testing the drug solutions' defecation level. The test was done after the accelerated test was done to the vulcanizates and the drugs.
