| Natural gas quick-opening closure is the natural gas transmission pipeline’s key device installed at the end part of the gas impurity filter container equipment which can realize quick opening and closing. It is usually made of high neck flange, the door cover, a locking mechanism, seal structure, safety interlock, opening and closing mechanism etc. With the construction of China’s natural gas pipelines, the need for natural gas quick-opening closure become stronger and stronger. At present our country gas transmission pipeline application of quick-opening closure mainly rely on imports. Therefore, a domestic oil companies and manufacturers and universities jointly completed a new high pressure, large diameter(12.6MPa,Φ1550mm) natural gas quick-opening closure and they made great improvement on the rubber sealing ring structure. This thesis makes a series of analysis and performance test on the key technology saddle-shaped ring’s sealing performance.This thesis introduces the new natural gas filter lock ring quick-opening closure seal’s development background and process, and then analyses the parameters that influence the new rubber ring’s performance with the strong nonlinear finite element tool. At the same time, this thesis analyses the main characteristics of sealing ring of similar foreign products with the relevant experimental data. Finally, this thesis gets the conclusion that the new saddle-shaped ring has excellent sealing performance and convenient opening and closing function, so it completely suitable for natural gas quick-opening closure sealing requirements. This thesis’s main work is as follows:(1) Focusing on the natural gas filter quick-opening closure sealing form, this thesis analyses the domestic and foreign quick-opening closure sealing structure’s principle and characteristics, and introduces the new saddle-shaped ring’s principle which designed by us, and then compares them with each other.(2) With the nonlinear FEM software ABAQUS, this thesis analyses the parameters that influence the saddle-shaped ring’s sealing performance and gets the reasonable value range of them. At the same time, this thesis completes the simulation and performance comparison of traditional "C" ringã€KEMLOCK "O" ring sealing structure’sealing performance.(3) This thesis completes the high pressure, large diameter quick-opening closure’s sealing performance test and the door’anti-lock characteristics verification. The results showed that the new saddle-shaped ring has excellent sealing performance and door’anti-lock floating performance.(4) This thesis explains the theory of "electronic aging", and completes the saddle-shaped ring’s age prediction with the material’s test data. |
