Along with the science and technology progressing and society developing, the propagandizing and protecting consciousness of every manufactory have been raising gradually, and the packing and the defending false of products are requested highly. To meet such demands, it is very necessary to study and develop the screen printer with highly accuracy and speed. As an advanced motion controller, PMAC(Programmable Multiple Axis Controller) is applied to the control system of the roller screen printer. In the control system, based on IPC, as PMAC card as core, a layered control frame from IPC to PMAC is built up, which is the control centre of the roller screen printer. Using the powerful function of PMAC, the control processes of the roller screen printer are completed. First, based on developing the mechanism of roller screen printer, the control system of the printer is designed, and hardware of the control system is chosen. Second, aiming at the characteristics of the printer, the synchronous and precise register control of the screen printer are researched, two functions are implemented by making use of the PMAC's Homing Search function and precise position catching function. Third, according to the idea of mold designing, the software of the control system is developed by means of the advanced language VC++6.0 to program. Using the Delta Tau PComm32PRO communication driver, the fast and stable communication program between IPC and PMAC is carried out. Fourth, the motion and PLC programs are designed, and man-machine interface is simple, friendly and convenient. Finally, the system of unload adjusting and PID parameter optimizing are brought to success.
