Removal of hydrogen sulfide using biotechnology has some uncompareed advantage, because it is very flexible and economical. In this assignment we studied the biotechnology of desulfurize. We constructed the continuous equipment of desulfurize which was mainly maded up of fixed bio-reactor and gas absorption tower. For this we studied the bacterium, immobile bioreactor and gas absorption tower.The Thiobacillus ferrooxidans(T.f) that is fit with pH 1.5 was obtained, when the rotate speed is 150r/min, temperature 30°C, liquid quantum 100ml it has well oxidation rate and the less precipitation. We decreased the precipitation with K2HPO4 and KH2PO4 substituting K2HPO4. The starvation T.f was used for the studying the influence of precipitation to T.f. The T.f could be conserved in ultra-low temperature.We construced the fixed bio-reactor with H-2(1) and net(2) soft fillings as carriers and examined the influence of aeration rate and dilution, then obtained the optimum condition of the fixed bio-reactor that were air rate 1601/h, liquid rate 0.31/h when the temperature is 30°C and pH 1.5. We also studied the measure to remove the mass of precipitation in the fixed bio-reactor by washing with alkali and then with acid.In the condition of rotate speed 150r/min, temperature 30°C, liquid quantum 100ml we counted the oxidation ability of single T.f 4.42 × 1012g/h, the number of T.f that adsorbed on the carriers was 6.8× 109/g carrier 1, 2.1 × 1010个/g carrier 2.We studied the removal of H2S in exhaust gas and studied the effect of liquid gas ratio and the residence time of H2S on the abatement efficiency of H2S and obtained the condition of liquid gas ratio 1.667 and the residence time7s in this condition the concentration of H2S in the export of absorption tower was less than 20ppm, it was up to the mustard.We also studied the circle utilization of 9K-culture, in which the T.f was cultured well afteradjusting the pH and supplying some compound which was consumed, and then the continuous circle was realized.
