Aiming at oil pollutants in soil & waters the regularity of petroleum pollutants secondary pollution to superstratum waters in aquatic sediments is researched, the investigation & analysis of subsoil of the Wang Yao Reservoir, which is important drinking water resources of the Yan'an City, are carried out, and the scientific basis of managing the pollution of the reservoir subsoil & ensuring the reservoir water to achieve the water standard, are supplied in this paper. The research as follows:1. The soils around the oil well are largely polluted in the investigated area. The pollution situation around the discarded oil well has some natural improvement, but it is severe all the time.2. Under the static condition kinetics model (as follows) of oil matter during releasing from sediments to waters, is deduced.By utilizing data of captive test it shows that the release of oil pollutants in sediments belongs to stair dynamics process, and it can be well stated by Sluggish Membrane Model. Kr shows release rate of oil pollutant under the some condition.3. By the analysis on pollution sediments after balance proper depth, during which aquatic sediments have effect on water quality of superstratum waters, is 10cm. Oil pollutant in subsoil may have little effect on superstratum for its screen function. But if time is enough, pollutant may pass up in sediments and pollute the superstratum waters.4. By GC-MS 23 kinds of petroleum substance are founded under the condition of analyzingon the component of pollution sediments. According to the carbon atomicity the substance are separated into three kinds i.e. easy-into-aquatic substance( 15), need- into-aquatic substance(C15-C20) and hard-into-aquatic substance( >C20); in the easy-into-aquatic and need- into-aquatic substances the acenaphthene, fluorene, isopropyl naphthalene, phenanthrene, anthracene, and benzo[a]pyrene do severe harm to the circumstance and healthiness.5. By the time & effect research on the pollution of sediments to superstratum it shows that secondary pollution of subsoil to superstratum waters still continue a very long time although point & nonpoint sources pollution could be controlled.6. By the investigation & analysis on sediments of the WangYao Reservoir, which is important drinking water resources of the Yan'an City, it shows that subsoil sediments will cause secondary pollution to superstratum waters when pollution load of surface layer is over 200mg/kg.
