Coastal sediments are important to the marine ecosystem. After the pollutants enter the seawater, quite a few will deposit to the sediments. Because of the release of pollutants, it will become an endogenous pollution under certain condition. The organic pollutants are polluting the marine environment seriously, influencing the marine organisms directly, and influencing our human health directly or indirectly. The distribution and fate of organic pollutants depend mostly on migration mechanism and adsorption-desorption mode. The fate of pollutants are in close relations with its ecological function, so it has important meanings to study adsorption-desorption of organic pollutants in costal environments. COD is regarded as an overall index of the organic pollutants, and it has important instruction function on the pollution sources, seawater quality, water quality of cultivating and the red tide etc.. At present, the research about COD is concentrated on sewage disposal, environmental monitoring and assessment mainly, but nobody has researched on adsorption-desorption of COD.In this paper, the mode of adsorption-desorption, impact factor and dynamics in coastal sediments of Jiaozhou Bay was studid. First, the release behaviors of organic pollutants, including of amount and rate, and influence conditions of organic pollutants in coastal sediments, were investigated; Second, the release potentiality and function of interval water and suspended substance are discussed, and the release mode of the organic pollutants in suspended condition is compared with static condition; Moreover, adsorption behavior and mechanism of COD on the coastal sediment of Jiaozhou Bay was surveyed during the adsorption experiment; Finally, the adsorption-desorption dynamics of ion organic pollutants was studied during the experiment of PCP-Na. On the basis of sites of investigation and tests, the major conclusions presented in this paper can be summarized as follows:The static release amount of the organic pollutants is 0.001-0.03mg/g from coastal sediments in Jiaozhou Bay, with the static release rate of 122.01-5122.41mg/ (m2.d), and...
