As the foundation and mark of a country's manufacturing, mould manufacturing has been given the first rank of the mechanism industry informatization in our country. But making a comprehensive view of the actuality of our mould manufacturing, you can find that the number of mould enterprises is large but most of them are weak, the flows of their operation and management are nonstandard, the association among them is loose and resource is configured badly unreasonable. These lead that the supply of moulds made by our country, especially those large, nice, complicated and long-lived, is inadequate to meet the demand, and most of mould enterprises at home have no ability and competitiveness to carry on orders of huge companies or complicated moulds. Weakening or breaking the bulwark among enterprises and configuring all resource unitedly are important and urgent for mould manufacturing industry. Just for these, the franchising manufacturing grid of mould, a new model of mould manufacturing system is put forward.The franchising manufacturing grid of mould is a new idea, the key to realize it is to adopt a reasonable method to construct its control structure. Aiming at the characteristics of the mould manufacturing grid, this article brings forward a modeling way based on HMS. Using HMS, we can construct a multi-layer model of mould manufacturing grid, including the franchiser layer, the franchisee layer, the manufacturing cell layer and the equipment layer. All layers collaborate to realize a global objective. Considering the complexity and self-similarity of the mould manufacturing grid, this article chooses the scheduling in a manufacturing cell as the research center. After analyzing the character, traits and demands of the manufacturing cell scheduling, the author constructs a model of scheduling system based on holon, demonstrating at detail the function, inner structure, and local control strategies, rules and algorithms of each holon which composes the system. At the same time, the interactions mechanism and communication manner among holons are fully introduced. At last, the author develops an original simulative system of the manufacturing cell scheduling.
