Chemical process simulation and optimization has become a useful tool in energy saving and improving economic effectiveness with the development of computer technology. In the flow simulation process, chemical data processing such as data judgement, exchange, renewal etc is following as necessary. So establishing a data processing system in the flow simulation system which has general and special-purpose at one time is essential. This system should be composed of general data processing module and special-purpose data processing module. Except can accomplish the qualitative and quantitative analysis to the process survey data, establish and solve mathematical model, but also it can accurately complete the parameter estimating of thermodynamics models and chemical reaction dynamic equations, to satisfy the flow simulation and the engineering calculation's need.Firstly this paper points out some methods limitation by generally analyzing each kind of statistical, numerical and optimization methods development and their application in chemical calculation. We research and develop the general data processing system, the partial optimized typical method - simplex method and the damping non-linear least square fitting method - Marquardt method and their application in the engineering calculation.
